If Religion could stay out of Politics & Politics out of Religion, could “Liberty” triumph in the U.S.A.?

Well it depends on your definition of liberty. I personally don't mind religions but I to mind when it becomes intertwined with politics. Although we were founded as a christsin nation, if you disagree that's fine but truth is we were, I don't think politics and religions are very mixed these days. Gay marriage is probably the only issue. The problem is your question religion and politics arnt the issue for securing liberty in the US. It's dlike saying if we take guns away from the people will crime stop?no guns don't kill people people kill people.
