Is it possible to have 2 or more sucurity product such as anti-malware,microsoft security essensial in my sys.?

will it create conflict on my computer system, or its just ok to use 2 securirty software at the same time? While.i already have norton internet security.i surf alot and my comp. is too vulnerable to virus /spy attack.
