What is your definition of a "#1" receiver and how many do you feel are in the league at one time?

Do all teams have one? Is it the same as an elite receiver? If all teams don't, what is the general number of receivers that have one? Do you have a statistical estimate of a number one? Which stat(s) are most important in your eyes to get an idea of which receivers are number ones?
