personally id prefer kickboxing...yes the kicks do affect the opponent more and also in kickboxing you normally see a set stance...like in the olympics you would normally see the boxers lose their stance half way if not before halfway in a match. with kicks, you have to maintain a stance to execute a proper kick i guess. but just my opinion...im sure there r cons about kickboxing...other than that i personally think they are just about the same for fitness training etc.
