How do I solve a girlfriend who breaks up after every fight?

I have been seriously dating a girl now for almost a year and a half. I love her and I want to be with her forever. Most of the time things are fine, but everytime we disagree or get in any arguement, she breaks up with me. It's getting pretty out of hand. She has broken up with me over 20 times in the last year. Things she has broken up with me include: she thought I came home too late (we don't live together), she got in an arguement with my sister over something unrelated to me, i went to the supermarket to buy work supplies with a female coworker, really any reason. Her rational is always that we don't understand eachother. After this happens, basically I convince her that we love eachother and wnat to be together. And each time, it lasts usually only a few hours to a day. Then things are back to normal. I realize that I have already lost dignity, but I don't want to lose her too. She is from an asian culture. What should I do?
