I found out this guy I was talking to is married?

and it was just an over the phone thing,he's from florida and im from california anyways I liked talking to him and he told me his wife was locked up in a hospital and was coming home tomorrow,which is today,and he didn't call me at all like he normally he does but he just texed me should I ignore him and stop talking to him,and give him the silent treatment or keep talking to him cause its just over the phone? thanks for any answers or replies BTw I just liked having someone to talk to on the phone
