Will a JBL GTO 755.6 amplifier power a jbl gt-4 15" 1000w subwoofer?

i have a jbl 15 inch thousand watt sub woofer and i have recently baught a shitty amp that doesnt have enough power to push it so i was wondering if this amp would supply enough power for it to hit hard with?
